About GS PhysioMed
In 2007 GS PhysioMed Medical and Rehabilitation Centre was founded by Physiotherapist George Stylianou in Paphos, Cyprus.
Having been a sportsman himself George has a great passion for Sports Physiotherapy and has successfully treated local, national and international sportspeople competing in major sporting events and competitions including European Games, Paralympic Games, Professional Football and Volley Ball Clubs and Marathons. George's aim was to enforce this level of expertise to all his clients entering his clinic and having his own professional multidisiplinary team with an holistic approach consisting of physiotherapists, sports massage therapists and fitness rehabilitation instructors.
We introduce programmes which focus on intense and prompt treatments as soon as an injury occurs or straight
after an operation, to increase the rate of the healing process, achieving rapid and successful results.
GS PhysioMed's reputation grew with high demand and success and in just only a year the practice moved to larger premises which could accomodate up-to-date equipment for the spacious treatment rooms, consultation rooms, fully equiped gymnasium and exercise studio as well as a welcoming reception area.
The Mobile Physiotherapy Unit was also established for those who were not able to travel to the clinic.
GS PhysioMed has developed strong associations with highly reputable hospitals and medical specialists in Cyprus who all work together to achieve rapid recovery time, pain free and fully functioning results, reducing the risk of complications.
GS PhysioMed follows the holistic clinical practice of finding the route cause with the aim to get you recovering as soon as possible.
Your diagnosis and recommended care will be explained to you so that you can understand your problem and therefore help yourself to a fuller recovery. You will receive the highest quality treatment and be given lots of advice on self management which will help prevent recurrence of the problem or injury. The team welcomes any questions you may have and are always happy to give ongoing advice.
